Not sure which part of this prize I would love the most? I love your candid family shots – I see pictures in my minds eye everywhere but it doesn’t always translate in the way I would like so I am eager for any tips. My passion for photography has been with me for years. In 2011, I believe was the turning point for me to get out there, attend courses and learn as much as I could to hopefully one day realise my dream of becoming a professional photographer. It was in this year my daughter was born at 24 weeks gestation. After spending 4 months in hospital with her she was well enough and old enough to come home. I have always loved photography but never been able to afford a “real” camera. I know have my first DSLR and can’t wait to learn how to use it properly. I am known by my family and friends to be the crazy photograph lady, I just adore taking pictures of my family and besides them photos are my most treasured possession. I Have been meaning to book this workshop for months now. I have heard so much about these workshops. And with a growing passion and photography love, I know this workshop would be perfect! My wife recently did one of the ‘love your camera’ courses and her photos are now stunning, she’s inspired me to try improving my own photography. The camera I have is a Nikon V1 which is not a DSLR but it does have manual settings that I’d like to understand more, I hope not having a DSLR doesn’t exclude me from being eligible. If I was to win I would of course give the 3 Annies Camera Bag to my wife, after all a gorgeous lady deserves a gorgeous camera bag. The daggy camera bag I have was left in lost property at my Dad’s work 20 years ago and never claimed so it became mine. You would so laugh if you saw it but it HAS kept my camera safe over the years. When my daughter came along I concentrated on Nappy Bags instead :) To upgrade to this stylish Pink and Purple bag (my fave colours) would be such an improvement and I would be look awesome when out and about with my camera! And with a workshop to improve my skills I may even look like I know what I am doing :)

Well I have just entered a competition to win a date with Angie Baxter Photography.
The workshop is hands on and that’s what I am all about. I love my Canon 550D EOS and would love to know more about the functions, without being totally confused by the books which have very limited information, and the little tricks of the trade to help improve my photography. The Cenza Dior Leather bag from 3 annies would be an added bonus as the bag I originally ordered is still in production with margo and I currently lug around a big black breif case. I did Angie’s course last year…. it was wonderful, giving me a strong basis for my work. I’ve wanted to be a photogropher ever since I was little and looked at my mum’s amazing slides of her travels through Europe. In a couple of months I will have the joy of following her footsteps around Europe and captivating this amazing journey with some hopefully amazing shots. I would love to learn how to use my SLR to it’s full potential, i’ve had it for a few years and have never taken it of auto mode! And as for the handbags…who wouldn’t want a shiny new bag?!

My friend, and awesome photographer, assures me that Angie could turn me into a photographer too just by attending her course. Considering that I need to ask for help just to watch a DVD, I think I could be her greatest challenge! What do you say Angie, I’m up for it if you are.

Dear Angue Angie Angie, I am über excited. My beautiful family gave me the ultimate gift for my birthday last week! A place at you love my camera workshop. It came highly recommended from several friends who had attended previously. I can’t wait. I am known in my family as the ‘family photographer’ and have dappled in taking pics for close friends and family. I am so excited to learn new tricks from such a fun and talented lady. I’ve only heard wonderful things about your workshops. I’ve always wanted to sign up for “Love your Camera”, but life has gotten in the way. The next part is a shameful and embarrassing admission – I’ve owned my camera for 2 years and it is still on ‘automatic’ and in a camera bag that it actually doesn’t fit in. Although I love my camera, it has not had the life it deserves. Please consider me for your workshop so I can be the photographer that I had always intended to be!

What a great competition! I am expecting my second child in two weeks & would love to win this competition so I can learn to take super cute photos of my babies. I have had a dslr for many years & really need to take it off automatic mode!

I am the mother of the most perfect two little boys – Oliver who is three, and Max who is 20 months old. Every moment of their lives has been treasured and I have diligently kept a photo journal with POTD, every single day of their lives. I have captured many perfect photos of some special moments, and some plain old ordinary moments, in their lives. They are perfect photos, because I was there, watching, sharing, and living the moment with them … not because they are technically perfect.
The week before Christmas our precious son Oliver was diagnosed with Autism. While I wished the world to stop spinning, as I gripped my devastation, my POTD has continued strong and kept me focussed on how truly divine and perfect he is and how much potential he has. We are now getting our head above water and I have opted to put my career as a paediatrician on hold so we can give our heart and soul to a ‘Rolls Royce’ intensive early intervention program and give Oliver every possible opportunity to embrace the world at his feet. I would love to win an Angie Baxter ‘Love your Camera Workshop’ to learn the skills and your “little tricks” to help me capture the magic and wonder in his eyes as we lift the veil of Autism, brighten the shadows, and welcome him back to the wonderful world that awaits him. It will be a POTD journal like no other!

I have NEVER won anything!! This would just be the most amazing competition to win. My passion is Portraiture Photography so such so that my family call me the Paparazzi!!! Memories of those special people in your life are the most important things in the world and are the only thing you have left once someone is gone! The first time I did the Love your camera workshop so much clicked for me and my photography really improved.

I WOULD LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THE BAG…. I would probably be the only Arizonian (USA) to have a 3 Annies bag and to take your workshop….. Good shots travel far and fast…and last and last.

Bought a Dslr after saving up after I had my son’s baby photos printed and they were shocking qualitygood, looked good on the screen but not printed:-( so saved up and just purchased my Dslr last week, bubs is 21 mths! Would love to learn how to get the most out of my new camera and start takin some awesome shots as our little family grows older.

I have spent years teaching myself to shoot manually. I have ordered piles of books from amazon, studied magazines, forums and blogs, and picking up tips and tricks whereever I could. I quickly realised shooting in manual really is the only way to shoot if you want to express your own voice, so I keep pushing myself and I keep learning, and it is SO amazing to see what can come out of your camera when you just immerse yourself in learning how it all really works. I could have saved A LOT of time and money if I had attended a workshop like yours, but unfortunately I live in Norway and I haven’t heard of anything similar here. However, I would absolutely love to give the workshop seat to a dear friend in Australia who just bought herself a DSLR because she wants to take better photos of her kids. She is still in auto and this workshop would be absolutely perfect for her. I can think of nothing better than to be able to give the gift of learning about photography to someone who is genuinely interested. The 3Annies bag I’ve been wanting to get since it was released; it is beautiful and practical and I just love, love, love it.

I have taken a long time to enter this competition.. Firstly because I had to admit to myself that I am a photographer…second I am a perfectionist. I love taking photos of small things that people do not normally look at…usually things that have fallen on the footpath such as a spent blossom or a dying insect…please help me photograph these gorgeous unspoken for, items! and help me photograph them better!
