Portrait Photography

My photography style is fun and passionate.  You know your children will look beautiful in my photos -- they always do.  And I will make sure mum and dad look great too.  These will be images that make you smile and tell a story about this moment in your life.   I steer away from forced and cheesy -- you will see lots of sparkley eyes, big laughs and happy mushy bits. 

The Session
My sessions are so easy -- very relaxed and informal.  As a guideline, most sessions take around an hour.  Babies can be fed, toddlers can have a drink and mum can top up her lippy.

I look to capture the heart-warming moments and the silly moments.   The stunning single portrait, the natural family shot, the crazy siblings -- it will all be there.

The Location 
I find sessions work really well in and around your home.  Your house does not need to look like House & Garden, you will be surprised that some of the best photos are taken in "renovator's delight" homes.  If we are shooting indoors (babies) we will need at least one room with good natural light.

There are also many scenic locations throughout Melbourne where we can shoot if you prefer. 

Booking a Session
A session can be booked over the phone.  I do shoot on weekends, although they book up quickly.  Session times are chosen to best suit your family commitments.  Once booked, I will send you a Tips Sheet on what to wear and how to ensure a successful shoot.
