Remember when it was just the two of you?

Susan and James have three boys under nine. They’ve been together for a gazillion years and to celebrate their 10 year wedding anniversary they booked a sitter, got dolled up and had a photo session just for them.

On my To Do list for this year is for Dave and I to have a session like this. It is such a great idea, at any age, at any stage of your relationship — just a few hours to hang with each other!

Susan and James also happen to be gorgeous friends of mine. I can assure you they are as divine on the inside, as they are in the photos. xo

These gorgeous young sisters surprised their parents with photos as a 25th Anniversary present. So thoughtful!

I am off to Sydney for a weekend of shoots and a workshop. Then next week is The Digital Show in Melbourne – a fantastic 3 days of everything photography. I will be speaking at the Seldex stand at 1pm everyday.

Kate and Mike (so gorgeous!) were married last November at a beautiful venue on the outskirts of Melbourne. Due to heavy constant rain on the day, we decided to go back to Emu Bottom for a honeymoon session to make the best of the location!

Photos for dear friends who have been wanting a family session for so long, and we finally got around to it on a glorious autumn morning last week. Tuesday wanted simple photos that captured where they are right now, with lots of love and cuddles thrown in.

There is so much I love about this family — but mostly I think it is their “take us as you find us” attitude. The Veldhoven door is always open, love and generosity flow in abundance, and I’m very lucky to be their friend. x
